Long mulberry tree fibers of hanji paper allow me to sculpt with my hands and water (my version of the Korean traditional joomchi technique). I seek to capture “komorebi”, the Japanese word for sunlight filtering through the trees, as well as other feelings from the natural world. I layer the paper, allowing for depth of color, light and design. I welcome to the trade inquiries and commissions and for larger projects and installation work.
