Using my original technique, I use thin layers of naturally fallen birch bark to collage on wood board in sizes ranging from 8”x 8” to 48” x 48”. The result is a textural atmospheric composition. While the natural material may resemble layers of paint, all of the pigmentation comes from the birch tree. I welcome custom and to the trade inquiries for larger installations and projects.
